The State of Idaho boasts a population of approximately 1.5 million people and has long been the butt of many jokes towards the gay community. Nonetheless, the Gem State in the Pacific Northwest of the United States is a true diamond in the rough when it comes to the gay community. In particular, Idaho’s capital and largest city, Boise, is well known across the state for its strong support of the gay community. This support is spreading state wide, and as a result, Idaho is becoming well known for its gay clubs, gay bars, and gay nightlife.
